Dinko Abdić

After I graduated from the School of Computer Technology and Electrical Engineering in Bihać, I went on to pursue a higher education in the field of computer science and mathematics. After reaching the third year of my studies, family responsibilities forced me to take a break from school and focus on my personal life and career choice. Even though I enjoyed my studies in IT and mathematics, I realized that the creative world was calling me and I couldn't ignore it anymore. All throughout my studies, I've been fascinated by design and development, and I've been working on a few personal projects to expand my skill set. Eventually, I decided to pursue a career in the creative industry and totaly shift my focus to graphic design, development, photography, video editing, and creative problem-solving.

Career Path

My first job was in a company called "MAAG Project" where I worked as a 3D designer, working on architectural projects. My job here was unique as it was a combination of traditional design and modern 3D modeling and rendering software.

After a year, I joined a company called "Vicit" where I worked as a web designer and developer. Here, I continued my expertise in using 3D modeling and design software to create visually stunning and functional websites. I also had the opportunity to work directly with clients, helping them bring their ideas to life by creating responsive websites.

In 2014 I decided to take a job as an IT Technician and Audio/video support specialist in the "Municipal Court of the City of Bihać". There I was responsible for supporting and maintaining the computer networks and equipment of the court. I was responsible for providing technical support for the court's computer feeds in courtrooms. I operated audio/video recording systems during court sessions. I was also responsible for ensuring secure audio/video links for protected witnesses and handling the analysis, secure archiving, and transcription of audio and video materials.

After 5 years, I decided to take an offer from "Aramedia Group" where I worked as a design generalist with a strong focus on graphic design, video editing, photography editing, and website editorial. I was responsible for creating visually stunning and pixel-perfect designs for their print and digital magazines.

At the end of 2020 - in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, as most businesses were closed and unable to operate, I decided to join a local production studio - "Studio Lege Artis". There I was a senior graphic designer and videographer, working with local and regional clients in the wedding industry and commercial videography / photography.

After almost 3 years, I left the studio and decided to start my own creative business - "Indigo Creative Agency". From the end of 2023 to this day, I am working with clients and businesses on their creative projects, such as graphic and web design, videography and editing, photography and I help businesses with all of their creative needs including marketing and branding. My projects range from website development, product design and packaging, video commercial production, designing marketing collateral, brand guidance and more.

Beyond my professional work, I lead a rich personal life filled with creativity and family. I've been happily married for 10 years and am a proud father to a 4-year-old daughter who brings endless joy and inspiration to my life.

Luthiery - The Art of Guitar Making

One of my most cherished hobbies is luthiery - the craft of designing and building guitars. This passion combines my love for music with my skills in design and craftsmanship. Each guitar I create is a unique piece that reflects both traditional techniques and modern design principles.

Philosophy

I believe in continuous learning and adaptability. While I have my preferred tools and methods, I'm always eager to explore new technologies and approaches that can enhance my work and creative process. This mindset of constant growth helps me stay current in the fast-evolving creative industry while maintaining the highest standards of quality in everything I do.
